We take full financial and professional responsibility for our work, from the examination to the handover of glasses or contact lenses, and even afterwards. We don’t ask you to get used to what you are not comfortable with, and we don’t want you to feel like you are not getting a solution to the problem you are facing. We are here for you, and you will feel it from the first moment.
Owner, vision
My name is Noémi Polgár and I am the creator and owner of Polgár Optics – Vision Care Salon. Since our launch in 2009, our focus has always been on quality. With the work, dedication and passion of excellent professionals, we guarantee the perfect end result. Eyewear is not just an accessory, it can also enhance performance and improve quality of life.
We also follow current trends, but we always adapt them to your needs. Our eyewear is our hallmark, so we strive to make our wearers happy and proud to wear us every day.

Polgár Noémi
Graduate Optometrist, Contact Lens Specialist, Optometrist
With many years of professional experience, I decided to start a business that would allow me to offer more than just the usual optical services. So in 2009 I started POLGÁR Optics. I wear glasses myself, I know and experience that good vision is an essential part of our lives. I like dealing with people. It's an honour when people come to me with their vision problems, and the best is when they have a positive experience with POLGÁR glasses. I like to perfectly solve the problems that arise, which results in a long-lasting customer relationship. In fact, my profession has become VISION CONSULTING! To achieve this, professional knowledge is essential - which is constantly expanding, accurate and precise work, high quality technical equipment, and high quality products. And from a human point of view, I feel that I have managed to bring together enthusiastic and dedicated professionals, and together we represent our values: "We only give out glasses that we would wear ourselves!"

Master Optometrist and Master Optician
I am a qualified optometrist-optician and master optician.
The initial interest that led me into optometry soon turned into a constant enthusiasm and then into a vocation for this beautiful profession. After years of running workshops in Budapest, I was able to try my hand abroad. For a few years I ran an optician's shop specialising in children's optics, managed the sales of surgical telescopes, gave practical and brand awareness training to colleagues, while constantly learning about the latest products and innovations in the world of optics. The scene changed, my passion for the profession grew and led me to Polgár Optika, the little jewel box of Noémi's dreams, where I can put to good use what I have learnt so far.

I have been fascinated by opticianry as a profession for more than 20 years, and since then I have been gathering my experience in the field of eyewear making. For a long time, I ran one of the busiest Ofotért shops, where I had the opportunity to find the answer to every customer question that arose. Not only in the optical field, I have also been able to continuously improve my skills, for example, I have also qualified as a consumer protection adviser.
Joining Noémi's team was the best step for my professional development. We strive to find a unique solution for each individual that suits their personality, that they can be completely satisfied with and that perfectly meets their visual needs. This includes not only the function of the glasses but also the harmony of the face and the frame, which is something I put a lot of emphasis on, because the most important thing is that our customers enjoy wearing the glasses we make.

Modern, precise ZEISS technology, a universal LCD visus tablet with personalized test lines, easy examination of children, a flat display and premium glass guarantee outstanding visual acuity without spots or shadows. 
Without it, it is not possible to order a personalised lens. In just 60 seconds, it measures, calculates and records the unique fitting parameters for the selected spectacle frame.
An ocular wavefront aberrometer, autorefractometer, ATLAS corneal topographer and keratometer in a 4-in-1 compact system that produces a detailed eye profile in just 60 seconds, even at extreme pupil widths. At 1500 points, it maps the higher order aberrations that are responsible for reduced, poor visual acuity at night in low light conditions! It is an excellent diagnostic tool and the key to iScription technology, which produces lenses accurate to 0.01 dioptres.
It will help you determine the size of the frame, it will feel around the lens fitting so you can optimise the thickness of the lens, and you will get a beautiful end result!
Thanks to its ergonomic design, it is comfortable to wear for the entire duration of the examination, with adjustable nose support, stem length, stem height and angle for precise vision!
It allows us to examine the inner part of the eye to answer any complaints and, if necessary, refer you to an ophthalmologist to diagnose any lesions.
Total eye power, pupil size, corneal curvature are measured.
It can be used to examine the cornea, conjunctiva, lid margins, iris, crystalline lens, vitreous, tear film, tear glands and retina.
It measures the diopter of glasses and the UV filtering of sunglasses.
